| Crap, I dunno what it is. And I could certainly use the money. With next week being a pretty light work week and all. |

Ok, picked up the book the other day. I probably won't have much time to do anything in it until next week or so... but will keep you all updated.
Thanks for the patience. |

West to east... an exact order? I haven't figured it out yet. I work A. LOT. this week and next week.
I'll figure it out this weekend and post the order. |

uh... seriously... I haven't forgotten about this. But, fuck, unless you want my pages to be thumbnails of storyboards for cell phone ads... I jsut don'thave the time to even start it right now.
Will get to it as soon as I can... just don't want to fill it with shit, and I've barely been able to think about art from a purely... uh... artistic standpoint lately. Too much work.
It'll happen though, I promise. |

Serves me right for not checking out the art section here.
This is a cool idea (influenced by Intersections at all?).
Once this gets rolling, you guys better post the results!!

By the beauty of it, but not hte concept. There's a lot of traveling sketchbooks that I see happening on the internet, but I never manage to get in them... or it's a really long waiting list for the next one.
So, I decided to do my own... but Intersections is amazingly brilliant.

Sure. The more people, the better. And it'll result in you posting your art... so that's good. PM me your address at some point. I'm so swamped doing storyboards right now that it'll be a couple more weeks before I get to the book properly. |

Odd coincidence--I'm actually painting the cover to something sort of like this right now. This guy has this big sketchbook full of drawings all related to The Endless (from the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman). He's got sketches of Death, Dream Destruction, and all the rest, each one by a different artist like Ashley Wood, Mike Mignola, and Ben's in there too. For some reason he asked me to paint the cover to it and it's actually been kind of fun.
I'd be down for this too, but...why not just start a thread like this? You could call it "the moleskin" thread or something. Maybe have one person start it off and whenever that person's finished with their illustration, they could pass it on to whomever they choose. Like r_sail does an illustration, and upon finishing, he posts his illustration and also chooses Qag to do the next one and so on and so on...might be a good way to call out the lurkers...also might be a good way to include the more digitally inclined artists...just a thought.
