hey!
man, it's been a loooooooooooong time since i posted here. wow.
but, i am working on a new comic. it's called PITCH: SHADOW AND FACT.
it's about a african american visual artist/design prof. who sees the ghosts of trauma victims..particularly dead slaves and lynching victims. they haunt him until he paints them. he also gets involved with certain homicide and kidnapping cases from time to time.
the themes deal with race and representation, authenticity of identity, dealing with the baggage of the past, and finding ways to let go...
the first few pages of the GN go like this...

hey,art!
it's doing fine. not flying off the shelves, i'm afraid..but,
enough to warrant the second part.
we are trying to create more "straightforward" stories
at the moment.
THE HOLE gets reeeeallly abstract in certain places...
you know?
